The art supplies listed below can be purchased at Wet Paint, 1684 Grand Ave., St. Paul. Some household items will help round out your needs.
If you are unable to purchase all the art supplies listed below by the first class, don’t worry. Pencils, erasers, and paper are all the materials needed for the first drawing lesson.
Basic Painting Supplies (can be purchased at Wet Paint)

• 1 - 4H pencil
• 1 - 2H pencil
• 2 – Bic ball point pens – black or equivalent
• Sharpie Fine Point black marker
• Pencil sharpener
• Kneaded eraser
• Pink Pearl eraser
• 3 – pack of Vine charcoal-medium
• 3 – pack of Vine charcoal-hard
• HB charcoal pencil
• Charcoal Sandpaper Pad
• Small Chamois
• 12” Ruler
• Canson Bristol 2-ply 9”x12” 15 sheet drawing pad, plate finish or equivalent
• Newsprint 9”x12” 50-100 sheet drawing pad or equivalent
• Strathmore 9”x12”, 100 sheet, 50 lb sketchbook or equivalent
• Human Figure by David K. Rubins
• Life Drawing by George B. Bridgman
Household Items

• Shoebox or Tackle box to hold art supplies
• Roll of Paper Towels (to be left at classroom). Continuing students need to bring a new roll every session.
