To
ensure a successful learning experience at The Art Academy, please
make sure your child has ALL the items listed below.
We
recommend that you purchase your ART SUPPLIES at Wet Paint, located at
1684 Grand Avenue in St. Paul. Their staff is very familiar with our
program
and is very well informed about art materials and their use.
Important HOUSEHOLD ITEMS will help round out your child’s needs.
Please
make sure that your child brings 2 SNACKS to each class. Each 3 hour
class will have 2 scheduled break periods for bathroom breaks and snack
times. Classes at The Art Academy require concentration and focus so
please try and limit the number of sugary sweets included in each snack.
Basic Painting Supplies (can be purchased at Wet Paint)
• Set of 10 Crayola Broad Assorted Markers, #58-7725
• Princeton round #4 brush, #4350R
• Princeton 1/2” Stroke brush, #4350ST
• Strathmore 11”x15” watercolor cold press pad, 12
sheets, 140 lb
IMPORTANT:
These items should be added to the Age 5-8, Level 1 Supply list, and
the combined supplies should be brought to each class.
Household Items
• Shoebox or Tackle box to hold art supplies
• Roll of Paper Towels (to be left at classroom). Continuing students need
to bring a new roll every session.
• Smock or big shirt for painting
Snacks
• Snacks should include something to drink and something healthy
to munch on.
Our
CLASSROOM DOORS open 5 minutes before the beginning of each class. Please
pick up your child IMMEDIATELY after class ends. No MAKE-UP CLASSES are
provided for Summer Camps.
